Tomando como base el Alfa 8C Competizione, los artesanos de Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera crearon el Alfa Romeo Disco Volante 2012, inspirado en el Alfa Romeo C52 "Disco volante" de 1952, denominado así por su apariencia de nave espacial. En este video podemos ver el trabajo artesanal del proceso de "fabricacion"
